We are delighted to welcome you all to our new home at Top Hat Studios. Our brand new, state of the art building includes 4 bright, warm and airy studio spaces of various sizes - plenty of room to get creative and to let your inner performer loose!

It is the new home of The Joanne Banks Dancers and the number one destination for all things Dance and Performing Arts. Situated on the high street in the thriving town centre of Spennymoor, County Durham, The Joanne Banks Dancers offer an exciting range of Performing Arts and Creative Arts classes and activities throughout the week in addition to regular seasonal and special events all taking place in our brand new, studio spaces. Come along and join us!

While you're here you can take advantage of our brand new cafe, The Green Room. Situated in the vibrant heart of the building, you will be able to fully immerse yourself in the creativity that surrounds you. Here you will find a variety of hot and cold drinks (including Slushies!) alongside a delicious menu of hot snacks, sweet treats and tasty pastries. Our studio space is also available for rental. We have several rooms of various sizes available for parties, meetings, events and celebrations. So if you need a venue to host an important one-off event or are part of a group that needs a regular space to meet, get in contact with Top Hat Studios - we will be happy to help.
