This week we turn the JBD Spotlight on Sabrina Carter. Sabrina came to us as an older student. She knew she wanted to become a professional Musical Theatre performer but, although she had the most amazing singingvoice, she needed to develop her dance skills. Having gained basic skills in dance and movement with JBD she then went onto further training and then into a fantastic career in Musical Theatre which has seen her in the West End in 'Wicked', 'Oliver', 'Jekyll and Hyde' as well as great plays such as 'One Man, Two Guvnors'. Here is what Sabrina said about her time with JBD:

"The reason I joined JBD was to build my confidence and skills in dance. Working in professional musical theatre these classes were invaluable in teaching me how to pick up routines quickly and more importantly how to project style and confidence through movement. 

I found the adult classes to be well structured and a 'safe' environment to learn, as so many dance schools make it a daunting process. Dance is supposed to be fun and JBD make sure it is but that you are learning too!"
